It sounds to me like Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) is on a revenge tour against Joe Biden.
Manchin has been a bit salty ever since his legislation to open up a pipeline in West Virginia was derailed.
Manchin also needs to make up with voters if he has any shot of defending his seat in 2024.
No Joe for Me
Considering Manchin is a Democrat and Joe Biden is the incumbent, the backing should be without hesitation.
However, when Manchin was asked about supporting Biden in 2024, the enthusiasm was not there.
He responded, “There’s plenty of time for the election.
“This is the problem with America right now.
“We start an election every time there’s a cycle coming up.
“The bottom line is, let’s see who’s involved. Let’s wait until we see who all the players are.
“Let’s just wait until it all comes out.”
Even with all that, however, let me tell voters in WV one thing… do not trust this man again.
He broke every promise he made after Biden took office, and all this pushback now is for show to save his own butt.
Let’s get him out of office and put a moderate Republican in his place so we can take control back of the Senate.
