Over the weekend, Donald Trump had a little bit of an early morning meltdown.
Trump, again, went after Ron DeSantis unprovoked.
For someone that Trump says is a horrible governor and a non-factor in the election, he sure is worried about him quite a bit.
Does Trump Have DDS?
The way Trump is acting, it is eerily reminiscent of how the media, Democrats, and liberals reacted to Trump when he was running and then president.
They all had Trump Derangement Syndrome.
That has brought comparisons to Trump’s behavior now, with several people accusing him for having DeSantis Derangement Syndrome, or DDS.
Trump, in his pre-dawn rant, stated, “Great Poll numbers are springing forth for your favorite President, me, against Ron DeSanctus (& Biden).
“I guess people are finding out that he wanted to CUT SOCIAL SECURITY & RAISE THE MINIMUM AGE TO AT LEAST 70, at least 4 times. LIKEWISE WITH MEDICARE, WANTED BIG CUTS.
“HE IS A WHEELCHAIR OVER THE CLIFF KIND OF GUY, JUST LIKE HIS HERO, failed politician Paul Ryan, the FoxNews ratings destroyer who led Mitt Romney’s Presidential Campaign down the tubes.
“GLOBALIST’S [sic] ALL! WE WANT AMERICA FIRST!!!”
The problem for Trump is that his argument is completely bogus because DeSantis is arguably the best overall governor in this country right now, let alone in the GOP.
Trump is also throwing stones in a pond that would be better left undisturbed.
The irony is beyond rich that it was only a few weeks ago that Trump endorsed Mitt Romney’s niece, Ronna McDaniel, as the GOP Chair.
Then he stood on stage with Lindsey Graham at a South Carolina rally.
Let’s also not forget that Trump put the current Director in place for the FBI and the dozens of bad and very swampy hires he made while in office.
Trump needs to take his meds and try to make DeSantis an ally, not an enemy.
I have a feeling right now that if DeSantis runs, most of those considering are going to cancel their plans and let DeSantis fight it out with Trump heads up, which would be the worst case scenario for Trump.
In a crowded field, Trump wins easy, but if this is a field of five or less, he is probably going to lose.
