Joe Biden was in the Senate for so long, perhaps he forgot that there was such a thing as video back then.
I bring that up because of an attack that Biden made against the GOP during his SOTU address.
The problem for Biden is that the video shows just how adamant he was to get rid of not only Medicare and social security, but he also wanted veterans benefits on the chopping block.
Seeing is Believing
Joe Biden first started going after these programs in 1975.
This is Joe 20 years later, on the Senate floor, railing out of clear frustration over the unwillingness to sunset these programs…

Republicans do not want to end these programs, they want to look at them and find a better way of funding them.
Biden is twisting the words of two Senators and using the platform of another Senator from 2010 to justify his claims.
So, if Joe Biden cannot be held accountable for an entire career of trying to sunset these programs, then I think we can let Senator Mike Lee off the hook for a 2010 platform issue that has clearly been debunked by his voting record in the Senate.
If not, then I would expect the GOP to start making a commercial that starts with Biden’s SOTU comments and finishes with that 1995 floor speech above.
