The White House has been hammering Governor Ron DeSantis for months.
Governor DeSantis is clearly a threat to Joe Biden if he runs in 2024.
Yet again, however, it is the White House that takes the hit in this joust.
And this time, it involves national security.
Not a Stunt
Ron DeSantis was activating the National Guard to address the surge of migrants that Florida has been seeing coming into the country from the coast.
When this happened, the White House stated, “We have seen Governor DeSantis do political stunts.
“That is how he perceives to fix this issue from Florida, we’re talking about people coming from countries who are dealing with political strife, who are dealing with issues where they’re trying to find asylum.
“And he treats them like pawns.
“So we have called that out, over and over again.
“And we will continue to do that.”
There is only one problem with that claim, however.
The Coast Guard had asked for his help…
