Like other political big dogs, Donald Trump has officially decried the police “assault” against Trye Nichols.
Honestly, we expected him to speak up against it because we know the left would have a meltdown if he did not.
What was interesting was what Trump left out this time around.
You Forgot Something
Donald Trump has had a tilt toward the establishment this time around.
He is hanging out with Lindsey Graham and he endorsed Ronna McDaniel for the RNC Chair.
So, here is his statement about the video…
“I thought it was terrible. He was in such trouble.
“He was just being pummeled. Now that should never have happened.”
Trump added, “That was really the point that got me the most, to be honest with you.”
He was referring to Nichols calling for his mother.
Trump concluded, “Look, the tape was perhaps not totally conclusive but, to me, it was pretty conclusive and it was vicious and violent and hard to believe — over a traffic violation.”
Did you figure it out yet?
Where is the part that this far from the norm and we cannot portray all cops as being like the five officers that laid this beatdown on Nichols?
There are about 30,000 arrests every single day in this country and how often does one go off the rails like this?
Even if it were one per day, which it is not, it is almost an immeasurable percentage.
This is not your 2016 Trump, my friends.
