Religious freedom wins.
And it is not sitting well with progressives at all.
A football coach who lost his job for praying will be back at work soon.
Fired!
Joe Kennedy was a coach of the Bremerton High School football team.
As we often see after games, he would lead a group in prayer after the game.
Some of the “woke” did not appreciate this, so they had him fired.
Kennedy did not go away quietly, however, taking his case all the way to the Supreme Court… and he won!
Per the Supreme Court order, Kennedy must be reinstated as a coach for the team before March 15, 2023.
The school has been forbidden from retaliating against him.
Nor can the school district stop him from offering a prayer on the field after the games.
The district is also responsible for all his legal fees, and they will be significant.
