Reports are blowing up right now that the Israeli PM reached out to Joe Biden regarding the revival of the JCPOA nuclear pact.
He was reportedly told he would have to call back because Joe “is on vacation.”
What?
I still remember when Biden and Trump were battling back and forth and Trump kept talking about that 3 a.m. call that comes in that “sleepy Joe” would never answer.
As it turns out, it was not even at 3 a.m., Joe was just on vacation.
Israeli media reported that when Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid reached out to Biden about the revival of the 2015 Obama deal, he was told to call back when Joe returned home.
I really wish this was a joke, but that was the honest-to-God report.
Oh, it gets worse.
Defense Secretary Austin was also scheduled to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
Austin did not even have the courtesy to cancel his meeting; he just left DC and made Gantz look like a fool.
The frustration among Israel’s leaders is growing, with one official telling the Israeli outlet, “the gaps between [Israel] and the Americans are very large.”
This is about as insulting as it gets, but it proves the point we have made many times.
Joe Biden and the Democrats hate Israel, and any kind words they say publicly are only for the cameras.
This is a major ally in the Middle East, and Joe does not take the call.
