When Roe v. Wade was overturned, protests broke out at the court and the justices’ homes.
Democrats were silent and Merrick Garland refused to prosecute protesters, as it is illegal to try to intimidate judges.
It now appears that Kamala Harris is trying to ignite a second round of protests.
Gaslighting
Before we get into what Harris said, think back to how much outrage there was whenever Trump criticized a government official.
Every time he did this, Democrats accused him of encouraging violence.
That brings us to today, where Kamala Harris was on a late-night show that nobody watches, “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
On the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which even RBG admitted was a flawed decision, Harris stated, “The highest court in our land just took a constitutional right that had been recognized from the people of America, from the women of America.
“The significance of that is profound in terms of what it means for the rights of individuals and in particular, for the right of an individual to make decisions about their own body and not have their government tell them what to do.”
Let me interject, please find the word “abortion” or “baby killer” in the Constitution and I will concede this argument now.
Harris continued, “Not to mention on the Dobbs decision when Justice Clarence Thomas said the quiet part out loud, which is that when they took the constitutional right from women on reproductive choice, that he said that in line, in terms of what might come next, is your right to contraception.
“That will affect all genders.
“Your right to marry the person you love, same point.
“And so there is so much on the line with these issues that affects everyone and the people you love.”
Interjecting again, Thomas will NEVER get the backing to have contraceptives banned.
He was out of line when he said it and I have no problem calling him or the idiots in the GOP that have suddenly jumped on this train.
Banning contraceptives is an idiotic idea, period. If anything, to avoid abortions, we should be promoting them to age-appropriate groups.
No, I don’t want to see them handed out to fourth graders, but banning this is just idiotic.
She continued, “And for that reason, let’s take it seriously, and let’s, you know, speak with our vote and undo what I think is a great travesty of justice.”
When you add all her comments up, she is giving the thumbs up to more attacks against the Supreme Court, and Clarence Thomas specifically.
If Trump went on a late-night show and said the things she said, the entire left would be up in arms, more so if violence broke out, as you know it would all be blamed on the bad orange man.
