House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did not have the Saturday night she thought she was going to have.
Pelosi was introduced at the NYC Global Citizen Music Festival.
While there were some cheers in the crowd, it sounded like there were a lot more boos.

Pelosi was introduced to the crowd by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Her husband, Nick Jonas, was one of the headline performers for the show.
Some of the other big acts to play were Usher, Mariah Carey, and Metallica.
After her introduction, Pelosi stated, “As speaker of the house, I am here to thank you for your dazzling advocacy, entrepreneurial thinking and determination as global citizens.
“It’s thanks to your help that the United States recently enacted historic climate legislation, which will be a game changer.
“It will slash carbon pollution by 40% by 2030, it will give a historic, an historic $370 billion to fight the climate crisis.”
Now, this was a green-oriented, liberal crowd, yet the boos could be clearly heard when she took the stage…
