Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been kind enough to share the wealth of illegal immigrants with other cities.
One of the destinations where Abbott is shipping illegals is Chicaga and Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
After only 75 illegals arrived in her city, she started to throw around the word crisis.
Not only that, she made some rather despicable attacks against Abbott.
Losing It
Lightfoot went right after Abbott’s faith, which, if you know Abbott, is about as low as it gets.
Lightfoot stated, “He professes to be a Christian.
“This is not the Christianity and the teachings of the Bible that I know. And I think religious leaders all across the country are standing up and denouncing exactly this.”
Abbott’s office fired right back.
Abbott press secretary Renae Eze stated, “Attacking the Governor’s commitment to his faith is a pathetic political ploy to change the conversation away from Mayor Lightfoot’s unwillingness to uphold her city’s self-declared sanctuary status.
“Where was Mayor Lightfoot’s outrage and condemnation of President Biden as he flew planeloads of migrants across the country and dropped them in communities in the cover of night?
“Instead of lowly personal attacks on the Governor and complaining about a few dozen migrants being bused into her sanctuary city, Mayor Lightfoot should call on President Biden to take immediate action to secure the border—something the President continues failing to do.”
I cannot help but laugh at Lightfoot’s comments.
It is easy to stand up there and be high and mighty when the “crisis” does not impact you, but Texas is seeing, on average, about 6,500 illegals come across the border every day.
Yet, she dares to complain about 75 of them being shipped to her city.
You know what I say… load up some more buses Governor Abbott, and truly make her feel the pain that is every day in Texas right now.
