Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) just proved she is about as dumb as a box of rocks.
AOC was arrested during a Supreme Court protest earlier this week.
Well, she just gave up the tapes… it was all a setup.
Political Theater
This is not politics; it is political theater, plain and simple.
Everyone, including AOC, knew she would get “arrested” because she wanted to get arrested!
The move was telegraphed by Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) camp and confirmed by AOC herself.
Omar staffer Jeremy Slevin sent out this tweet…
Members of Congress, including @IlhanMN will be participating in a civil disobedience at the Supreme Court, potentially including arrests, shortly. 1 PM ET/12 PM CT.

After the video was published, AOC made a post on Instagram that stated, “This was an activist-led civil disobedience, where activists & organizers from [the far-left Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund ] + others asked members of Congress to submit themselves for arrest in front of the Supreme Court.”
Basically, she just admitted that they walked up to the cops and asked them to arrest them.
What is even more aggravating than the fact that AOC was playacting on our dime is that the police allowed themselves to be used as props in this little charade.
Dana Perino hit the nail on the head, stating that AOC went to Congress to “play” Congress, not to actually do something…
Congress has turned into an absolute freak show.
