It would appear that there is a clear frontrunner now among Trump’s possible VP candidates.
It is widely known that Trump would like a woman this time around.
That woman would appear to be South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
Taking the Lead
Noem recently endorsed Trump, appearing to put herself atop his list of potential VPs.
Now, Trump likes to play this care close the vest, so you have to read between the lines here.
When Trump was recently asked about a woman being his VP, he stated, “I like the concept, but we’re going to pick the best person.
“But I do like the concept, yes.”
When he was asked if Noem was on his list, he responded, “She’s been a great governor.
“She gave me a very full-throated endorsement, a beautiful endorsement actually.
“And, you know, it’s been a very good state for me.
“And certainly, she’d be one of the people I’d consider, or for something else maybe.
“But we have a lot of people. We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party.”
The only other possibilities that we see are Kari Lake, Elise Stefanik, Nikki Haley, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
None of them can match Noem’s firepower, however.
Unless these salacious rumors about her alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski prove to be true, it is tough to imagine Trump picking someone else.
