Amidst endless speculation over whether or not he will make a presidential run in 2024, President Donald Trump gave an interview to Independent commentator Bill O’Reilly during his “History Tour” stop in Sunrise, Florida. During the symposium-esque Q&A session with the former Fox News legend in front of a cheering audience, the question arose of who Trump would select for a 2024 running mate to be his next Vice-President. He didn’t disappoint his gathered supporters and uttered a sentence that is dominating the Monday news cycle and teases much more to come.
The mirthful 45th President made certain to poke a bit of fun at the current occupant of Number One Observatory Circle, the little-known, seldom-mentioned official home of the Vice President. “By the way, how’s our current vice president doing?” Trump asked the audience “Not so good.” A clear reference to Kamala Harris’ rapidly imploding polls, typified by an abysmal 7.4% Approval rating, lower, by FAR than the last four Vice Presidents according to The LA Times.
When President Trump Teases The Press
In his usual form President Trump kept the crowd guessing. “I think Ron would be good,” he offered, referencing GOP frontrunner, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the cheers of those in attendance.
He also took a moment to essentially cast aside former VP Mike Pence, pointing out that the Indiana Republican had more or less burned his bridges on January 6th by refusing to return the corrupted Electoral College certifications to the state legislatures.
“I think Mike has been very hurt by what took place with respect to Jan. 6,” Trump told O’Reilly and the crowd. “I think he’s been mortally wounded, frankly, because I see the reaction he’s getting from people.
“They say: ‘Why didn’t he just hand it back to the legislatures? Why didn’t he do it?’
“I think Mike would be tough.”

“You have many, you know, they have been in the news all the time,” Trump continued. “Should it be a woman? Should it be – I’ll tell you somebody who’s great is Tim Scott. A lot people love Tim Scott. He’s great, a great person.
“But I think we have a lot of people. I’m not going to get into it exactly.”
“I don’t love this question, because there are a lot of them,” Trump said. “There are a lot of people.”

President Trump wasn’t just on the stage answering questions from a legendary conservative commentator, he was teaching a master class in how to troll the media and keep them continually guessing. Both the mainstream and conservative outlets will be buzzing over this for weeks. And the former sh*tposter in chief seemed to be wonderfully aware of this, teasing his next major appearance via a statement from his Save America PAC.
“We had a great time in Sunrise, FL yesterday. Very exciting, informative, and fun. We will be back in the area for a major rally in the not too distant future. See you then!” – President Donald J. Trump
