Texas Governor Delivers BAD NEWS to Beto O’Rourke

Abbott

Beto, it might be time to call it a day.

O’Rourke was already struggling to stay in contact with Governor Abbott before he got a bacterial infection.

After some time off the trail, he just discovered that he is 12 points back among “almost certain” voters.

Bad News, Beto

Progressives have been trying to break through in Texas for years, and it appears they will have to wait a bit longer.

Even when the University of Houston and Texas Southern University expanded to “likely voters,” Beto was still trailing by six points.

If we go to the holy grail, the RealClearPolitics average of all polls, Beto is down 48.4 to 41.2 percent.

Beto has less than 60 days to close this gap and he is moving the wrong way.

Just saying, if I were Governor Abbott, I think it is pretty safe to leave the suitcases in the closet.

Beto will not be moving in anytime soon.

If Beto does lose, it will be curious to see his next step.

He was making a nice living as a Congressman in a progressive district, but he decided he wanted to play with the big boys and has been an eternal candidate ever since.
