The ruling by the Supreme Court on presidential immunity has set Democrats on fire.
Just as we thought it would, Dems are now looking to take action against the court.
In fact, AOC has already stated that when they come back in session, she is going to file impeachment papers against some of the justices, and she is not alone.
Going Off the Deep End
Again, let me state that this entire narrative by Dems regarding the ruling is idiotic.
When the majority opinion was released, there was really no new information in that ruling.
Most of what the opinions read had already been established in other precedents.
Democrats, and this includes the liberal justices, are painting this as though the ruling means the presidency can be turned into a dictatorship or that a sitting president could order our special forces to take out political opponents.
Rest assured, that is not the case.
To that point, Rep. Joe Morelle (D-N.Y.) stated, “I will introduce a constitutional amendment to reverse SCOTUS’ harmful decision and ensure that no president is above the law. This amendment will do what SCOTUS failed to do—prioritize our democracy.’
No presidency is above the law, and if a sitting president committed a criminal act, he or she would already be held accountable, including under the presidential immunity ruling.
AOC did the same thing, posting, “The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control.
“Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture.”
These people are out of their minds, and they are using this ruling to get people riled up and rioting… make no mistake about that.
Sadly, not a single word of what they are saying is the truth.
