Nascar Brawl Breaks Out on Camera

Now friends, if there is one thing I like it is a good contest between folks of skill. When I say contest, I mean any activity where there is more than one possible outcome.

When I was in the navy, we used to have contests of just about every variety. Yes, often money was involved. One of my favorites was when there was race of two teams of two where each team had to hold opposite ends of a broom.

It’s the same reason I love watching NASCAR. Every week during racing season I am parked in front of a television somewhere watching the races. Every couple of years I get the chance to go to a race when we’re visiting family.

It’s great family entertainment, and as exciting as all hell. I mean, what is more exciting than a race?

That being said, these NASCAR drivers are very serious when it comes to their craft. When you get that many serious folks in an area together, and they all want to win sometimes things will bubble over.

Everyone’s temper gets the better of them at one point or another.

Recently following a crash during the second lap of a race, NASCAR drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch started throwing hands with each other.

The incident seemed to had been coming for a while because of an incident during a previous race.

In the video you are about to watch, Stenhouse walked up to Busch following the incident between them on the track and got in his face. Busch, not one to back down stood there while Stenhouse through a right hand at Busch.

The fight didn’t last all that long as due to the number of people that are in the pit area at NASCAR races the fight was broken up about as quick as it was started.

There is already talk of Stenhouse being banned from racing as the attack against Busch was totally unwarranted. I mean, you kinda know what you are getting into when you are in an auto race.

It’s probably not the first time this has happened and it probably won’t be the last. At the end of the day, it probably would have been better for Stenhouse to just let it go and not face expulsion from the sport he loves…
