Cop Shot in the Head…By Another Cop

A Miami cop was shot in the head and remains in critical condition on Friday, November 4. He was shot by a former officer, a female one. It’s a disturbing sign when agents of the law are settling their domestic disputes with gunfire.

Cop rushed to hospital

A Miami, Florida cop “was rushed to the hospital in critical condition early Friday,” the New York Post is reporting. A “recently fired female officer shot him in the head in what officials said was a domestic incident.

According to the Miami-Dade Police statement, the unnamed victim “had been in a relationship with the shooter, a former Miami-Dade Schools officer, when he was shot off-duty in Hialeah.” An update later Friday confirms his condition is unchanged.

The cop who pulled the trigger is safely in custody at this time.

When word went out on Twitter that “one of our MDPD officers was shot off-duty in what appears to be a domestic incident,” his fellow officers “swarmed Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he remained in the facility’s trauma unit Friday.

The department asked everyone for your prayers and promised an update later in the day. A few more details have trickled out but this remains a developing story.

We now know the name of the cop ambushing assassin and there was word from the hospital that the critically wounded officer has been through surgery.

The latest update

As of this writing, NBC relates that the off-duty cop is a 17-year veteran of the department and “was shot in the head at a home near the intersection of West 79th Street and Northwest 67th Avenue in Miami-Dade.

Hialeah Police spokesman Sgt. Jose Torres confirmed that “the critically injured officer was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center,” where he underwent surgery.

Torres also verified “the suspected shooter, a former Miami-Dade Schools Police officer, was taken into custody.” They frown on a former school cop resorting to violent murder, it gives the department a bad reputation.

Local reporters learned from “an unnamed source” that “the shooter was the officer’s estranged girlfriend, Yessenia Sanchez, who had reportedly resigned from her job as an officer last year instead of being fired following her arrest on domestic violence charges.

Incidents like this are only a symptom of a much more serious disease. Patrick Yoes, National President of the Fraternal Order of Police, issued a warning back in January “that should terrify every American.” More people, he insisted “will break the law and crime will increase.” He’s been right so far.

It’s all because of progressive Democrat policies. This is exactly what happens when there are no consequences for breaking the law.” Don’t bother to call a cop. According to Yoes, “you’re on your own, because police can’t even save themselves.” When society “gets to the point of allowing wanton violence against officers, then far-reaching consequences can be expected, including great danger to the general public.” Wanton violence against officers – BY officers, is even worse.

  1. The Biden administration’s reckless, irresponsible, and often criminal behavior is a ball of yarn that is beginning to show the results of disinfecting sunlight shining on its demonically rotten core as it slowly unwinds. We will undergo some pain but nothing like those who willingly brought this curse upon mankind!
