CCP Discovers CIA Spy in Its Government

China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS) has recently accused the CIA of planting a spy in the Chinese government.

According to Global Times, a state-run media outlet, this individual was supposedly providing sensitive government information to US intelligence in exchange for payment.

This announcement comes shortly after MSS announced that they had apprehended another spy who was collecting military secrets from China and selling it to the CIA.

The MSS claims that a student named “Hao” studying abroad in Japan met an American embassy officer known as “Ted” while trying to get his visa approved.

Ted then began buying Hao presents and took him out for dinner which eventually led to Ted paying Hao for helping him write papers.

Later on, Ted introduced Hao to one of his colleagues named “Li Jun” who he revealed worked with the CIA in Tokyo.

Li Jun then recruited Hao into the CIA where he was trained and asked by them to return home and work at a critical unit within the Chinese ministry.

After returning home, Hao started working with this ministry and began meeting with CIA personnel multiple times all while receiving payments for sensitive information provided by him.

The MSS further stated that investigations have commenced against those people involved in this case as per law enforcement protocol but no news about what happened or where is now located has been given yet since then.

The accusations made by MSS are similar to ones made on August 11th when they claimed that they were taking action against spies passing important military information from China into US hands, something which is also mentioned in their Counter-Espionage Law passed in July 2023.

To alert citizens about these potential threats, the MSS set up a social media account informing everyone that secret activities must be monitored closely across all parts of society so as not respond positively towards suspicious individuals offering rewards or gains that could lead them down dangerous paths if followed through with.
